If I could live anywhere

There are many unique places in the world to live in. If I could live anywhere in the world, I would live in California.  There are several reasons why I would want to live in California. One reason is because of the weather. Most of the year, California experiences nice weather. The weather is usually is hot in the summer and with nicer weather, I could do many more activities.

A second reason why I would like to live in California is because of the active community. There are so many activities to do because most people in the community are always doing something outside of their homes. This also refers back to my first reason. Since the weather is always nice, I would be able to do many activities. An example of how weather would affect the activities I could do is that because it is sunny most of the year, I could go swimming and play basketball, even in the cooler months.

A third reason why I would want to live in California is because of the job opportunities. If I were in California, I feel the pay would be greater, then if I were to have a job in Ohio. What I mean is that the same job in California could pay more than the same job in Ohio. Not only this, but I also believe the job opportunities would be greater in California then in Ohio. These are three reasons why I would want to live in California.

What if money were no object?

This project was very interesting. It showed me that everyone had their own ideas on what they would do if money were no object. Some told how they would improve society and others told what they would do in their in own life. Every idea was very creative. This project required a lot of thought because I, along with others, had to think really hard about what would we do if money were no object. Overall, I really enjoyed doing this project because it showed how every person had a creative idea on what they would do if money were no object.

If I did not have electricity

There are many things I would miss if I did not have electricity. The main thing I would miss is the Internet for several reasons. One reason why I would miss the Internet is it is very important to me because it helps me finish many of my tasks. For example, I would not be able to check my grades for school because I would need the Internet in order to achieve this task. Another reason I would need the Internet is because I usually watch many episodes to different television shows on the Internet.  I would also use it to watch sports such as basketball or football that do not always air all the games for a certain day on television. For example, I like the Pittsburgh Steelers and there games do not always appear on television,  so I have to watch them on the Internet. A third reason I Luke the Internet is because of all the vast knowledge it provides on many different subjects. There are many different subject it lets me explore, such as Math, Science, and History! I can learn many things on these subjects every day because of the Internet. These are three reasons why I would miss the Internet most, if I did not have electricity.

My favorite book

My favorite book is "Payback Time" by Carl Decker. This is my favorite book because it shares a story of a boy who must overcome challenges to meet his goals. An example of this is when the main character, Daniel True, is told to become the reporter for the sports section of the school newspaper, but he does not like the position. At first he complains to the lead editor. He then comes to realize that he must accept the position in order for him to continue working in the school reporting industry. His first assignment is to cover the school football team. He still does not like doing this topic, but learns to accept it. This shows me the resilience he had to do the job, even though he did not want to. The lesson the story teaches is that I should not give up on doing on doing what I like because I am in a situation I do not like.
