Daham

                                                                             Daham

My name is very unique. In fact, it is usually found in the Middle East. This is where the name originated. The name itself is like the Eurasian plant, "Sweet Clover."They are both similar in the fact that neither one originated in the United States, but they were later introduced.

The pronunciation for my name can be kind of tricky. The part that makes people mispronounce my name is the fourth letter in my name, which happens to be the letter "A." The "A" is pronounced as a short "A", rather then a long one. It is like when someone shouts "Ahhh" in a movie because the pronunciation for both of them is the same. Even though sometimes my name can be mispronounced, I am not that kind of person that becomes doleful if such a thing were to happen. I rather teach them to say it, then become mad.

My name was given to me because my parents wanted me to be named after my grandfather. My dad was imbued by all the positive influence his dad had on him growing up, so he decided to name me after him.The translation for my name is "Lion." The number one reason why I like my name is it helps me become more known in a group or community of people.
