Putting Life on the Line

Everyone has a different reason on why they would risk their life to help someone else. I think that people risk their lives for others because as life goes on, they want to remember that they have done a good deed. Someone knowing they have done a good deed makes them feel very happy. The big part of the deed they have done is that they put their life on the line to help someone in danger, knowing that they could possibly be severely injured or killed. This reason would mean very much to whoever put their life at risk for the sake of helping another in need. Someone knowing they have done a major deed such as risking their life will make them happier. Life for that person could not be well, but knowing they have done such a major action that has positively influenced their life and the life of another, will make that person more happy and confident. This is why I believe someone would put their life at risk for someone else.

Although saving someone is a very impactful event in the life of a person, they must first consider their own life before saving someone else. They would consider themselves first because they might have family or friends that they care about and knowing the risk that they might be severely injured, could leave that person reconsidering their decision. Someone who would consider themselves first must have something that might hold them back from doing such a big task of putting their life in danger. Everyone should always consider their own life before putting their life at risk. This is why someone might look out for themselves first.
